LCD (Show Dog’s spiritual scam)….continues!

Hi Suzanne

You will need a translator to get any details from this, but basically it is an invitation, info  prop and registration form for attending the first LCD Show Dog Sun Dance in Colombia. His rep there is Alfonso Castillo, who lives in Michigan, but has been a LCD sidekick for over 20 years.

Word has it that LCD can’t get a passport and is sending a Lakota “Chief” to officiate.

There is a paragraph that states the minimum donation for anyone going is $ 200 US an amount that is more than a month’s income for a native person in Colombia.
It is so incredible, the whole format of the thing, you can check off in a little box if you are coming as a pipe carrier, dancer, supporter, etc. ( no box for none of the above)

Insane and absurd, typical product of LCD…..

The Sun Dance is a spiritual ceremony practiced for centuries by some American Indian Nations. Each tribe has its own way of performing the ceremony, although most of them have common elements such as dance, song and prayer. Sun Dance Lakota language is Wiwang Wacipi, which literally means “dance of staring at the sun.” There is a cult of the Sun but a ceremony of “renewal of the world” and “thanks for a year of life for all our relations.” They dance around a tree that is the prototype of the life cycle. In this cycle we are the leaves, each leaf has its individual characteristics, and just all part of the tree, grow, mature, die and return to the earth, in the same way that we do. Sacrifice is the Office of the sacred in the Sun Dance aims to bring light to life of all our relationships: * The ceremony is universal: * All are welcome to this Sacred Circle. * Ceremony In working with the cosmogony represented in symbols. these symbols have the ability to speak according to our level of understanding, and are central to the development of the ceremony. * They greet the energies that govern life on Mother Earth by enshrining the 7 directions, and * It works with the four basic elements that brought life on Mother Earth and the exercise of the relationship with all these elements. The Canadian government banned some of the practices of the Sun Dance in the seventeenth century, and the United States followed suit in 1904. Today this sacred ceremony is again considered as such (since the presidency of Jimmy Carter in the U.S.). Hello Suzanne,
I am Colombian and I went to Maya, Colombia as an observer of the first Sun Dance ceremony that was held in my country, from the 6th to the 13th of January, 2013. There were approximately 40 or more Sun Dancers and more than 100 supporters, observers or guests.

I was very touched by the whole ceremony in which the Lakota brought the Medicine of Love to my country, while other Medicine Men from different Colombian tribes brought their dances, their music and traditions in a very peaceful and wise way.

The organizers were told by the Drapeau family ( Elder Galen and his son Glenn, among others) that they were very sad because they had found out one day before the end of the Sun Dance that the organizers had asked for money in exchange of a sacred ceremony.
They told them that in the Lakota tradition, this is totally unacceptable and that they had never expected such a thing. They didn´t want the organizers to use their names as having agreed with charging for taking part in the sacred Sun Dance, because among the Lakota there is always faith in the Great Spirit as the provider of everything that will be needed for the ceremonies to take place. People can help with the food, with the cooking, with necessary donations, with the meals, etc, but everything is voluntary. Nobody is forced to pay anything for taking part in a Sun Dance. This was clearly explained to all the people who were there.
Although the Sun Dance finished early, the participants and organizers stayed for a long time speaking and sharing their opinions, while some Elders were praying for this necessary meeting to put an end to the high prices that had been charged to cover all the travel/ camping/ food/ expenses.
There was a long discussion and the organizers said that they would give all the money back and that the participants who still “owed” them some money were totally free of their debt. One of the organizers said that he could ask for a loan to cover all the expenses.
As an observer I can tell you that besides that, the whole Sun Dance was amazing because there were Medicine Men from the Colombian Amazon, from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta ( who seldom leave their reservation) and dancers, guests, supporters and observers from many countries, such as Colombia, Mexico, Perú, Germany, Canada, the USA, etc.

    • Thank-you for writing….is there anyone who can substanciate your information here about the charging for ceremony, and the money was returned by the organizers…like how was that even possible?
All ceremony is wonderous when done with the proper intent, but even the best of the medicine men & holy man have been fooled by Show Dog & AIM, one prime example was Ceremonial Chief & Holy Man….Frank Fools Crow, who found out too late how far the users & abusers will go to sell Lakota ceremony.
If the money was given back, it would be a first…show us please.

        Hello Suzanne,
I was in Maya as an observer of the Sun Dance for 4 days and was asked to pay 15 dollars to get in (27000 Colombian pesos). That was all the money that I had to pay. A friend of mine, who is a Sun Dancer, didn´t pay anything, although someone was charging her for money. She has been in several Sun Dances in the US and she knew that it was not correct to ask for money, so she didn´t pay a single cent. The other two friends of mine, observers, who arrived in Maya with me also paid 15 dollars as we entered the site and that was all for the 4 days. That is my direct testimony. I am going to ask my friend Jacky, the Sun Dancer, if the money was given back to the other Sun Dancers who had already paid the 200 dollars. I know for sure that she didn´t pay anything.
If you know other people who went there, please ask them, so that you have different opinions and testimonies.
        Greetings from Colombia.

Who were the organizers who asked for the money to begin with?
*Greetings back to you all in Colombia…!
Leonard Crow Dog & his AIM apprentices abuse ceremony by embellishing Crow Dog’s
nonexistant Chief’s (fraud) position among the Lakota…and, selling ceremony.
We love our brothers & sisters from Colombia embracing our Sacred Lakota ceremonies…
Our desire is for Lakota tradition & protocols be respected & represented properly
when the draw used for people to attend is “authentic Lakota ceremony,” such as Sun Dance.
Which is not to charge money for ceremony, period.
Expenses & travel is all a real traditional Lakota Incessor would expect or desire, as long as
the Lakota protocol of sending a filled Cannunpa (pipe) with the request for his services was adherred to…
Please Emma, read more on the history of AIM, & how AIM members have distorted & abused
traditional spiritual Lakota ceremonies for profit for decades…
Our desire is not to judge the people attending ceremony, only educating those in attending,
& preventing those abusing & profiting from our Lakota ceremonies from continuing to do so…
All true ceremony comes from the heart, & obedience to our Father, Creator & his teachings.
Something so Sacred & special, that has nothing to do with money….but, a human soul.

    Dear Suzanne,
Please receive a sisterly hug. We thank you for all the information that you have given us, because you are unveiling something that has been going on and that is against of the Sacred Lakota Tradition. We don`t want to lose contact with you and we want to inform about this to Elder Galen, so that the following Sun Dances in Colombia are done following all the protocols mentioned by you above, so that we don´t alter what should not be altered.
We thank you for all the light that you have given us and our idea is that everything is in harmony with the Sacred Lakota Tradition.
