Looking Back Woman-Suzanne Dupree blog 
I raised this stud on a baby bottle after Jr’s dam died after foaling him.
I loaned Jr. to Gene Reeves to help my relatives out, so Reeves (& Lestmeister) could aquire the homozygous bloodline for his Staple Triangle Ranch horse herd.
And, for doing so…. they were to CARE for Jr. & then return him to me after the 2000 breeding season…
Which they did not do either, as they had agreed to do to be able to breed to Jr & have his foals registered, as you can see by Reeves note, he did not care about the registration or legality of the animal, he wanted the guaranteed color of a homozygous producing Paint stallion.
Reeves had a Paint stud, bred him to 10 mares, & got one paint foal.
Then, Gene Reeves came to me for a 100% color producer…
You can see what happened to my Jr. while in Gene Reeves & Lance Lestmeister’s care…
I was never apologized to, or repaid for the my loss of my homozygous stallion while in their care, or offered anything other than attitude from Gene & Faye Reeves & lies from Lestmeister!
Nor did they bury Jr, but left his body to rot on the hot South Dakota prairie, after they got what they wanted from Jr & I….
Cheyenne River Tribal police refused to assist with proof of death of Jr, as the Lakota I spoke to was related to Arvol Looking Horse…& he was not much help in the case.
These are my Lakota relatives…..would you want to buy a horse from people who would do something like this to someone (a relative) who only tried to help them out?
Or a beautiful animal like Jr?
They should hang….but, won’t anymore than the politicians who wrote the law to let them get away with what they did to my lovely & sweet Jr. & myself.
A white man can do anything to an Indian on reservation lands, & there is no recourse to the Indian, as it was explained to me by South Dakota attorney, Andrew Bogue…
Gene Reeves & Lance Lestmeister are both white men, married to Lakota women, who are my relatives…
The parting shot from Faye Reeves was….
I was not enough (Lakota) Indian (blood quantum) to do anything to any of them for what they did to my Jr. & I!
The brand inspector suggested we look for lead (a bullet) after Jr.’s body completely deteriorated, saying Lestmeister waited until it was too late to determine how Jr. died to contact me…. to let us know my Jr. was dead in Lestmeister & Gene Reeves care.
All this occurred after I spoke to Lestmeister about bringing the Pte Hincala Cannunpa Kin home to South Dakota, when we wanted to put the ashes of my Mother, over the grave of my Father, who is buried at the Dupris Family Cemetary, in Dupree, South Dakota.

Reeves & Lestmister’s fates are sealed, two Wasciu men living on Teton lands the only way they got the land was marrying Teton Wiyan…. Lestmister’s wife while he had Jr before his death, would not allow me to speak to my own Cousin.
As far as Fay Reeves, she deserves whatever Wakan Tanka/Jesus Christ decides as punishment for her saying to me after Jr died, “You can’t do anything to us over It’s death, you are not Lakota enough!”
You just watch me Fay, you betrayer of your own….you will wish you were ever born, & the Thunder Beings will hunt you all down & destroy you, & I won’t lift a finger!
